Our Wado Ryu Club is member of the Lower Austria Karate Federation, the WKF, and the
Austrian Karate Federation.
With approxiametly 400 members our Club has a wide variety of competitors, which show their talents at international competitons and are also very succesful.
All the Austrian Wado Ryu Clubs are also part of the Austrian Wado Ryu Group.
We offer daily training, in different towns, Monday and Thursday in St. Pölten at the Theodor Körner Schule, and also in Loosdorf (Kid´s Training), on Tuesday in Karlstetten, on Wednesday in Wölbling and on Friday in Böheimkirchen (Kid´s Training and Advanced training). Also on Saturday morning we offer kid´s training in the morning.
Beside the Karate Basics, the kids have the opportunity to find new friends, play games and learn about body and self control. There is no strict division between the Kid´s and the advaced trainig, so the younger ones are always welcome in the training with the adults.
All in all we have around over 5 trainers who take care of the Karateka´s and teach them in Kata, Kumite and Self defense.
Our club organizes and competes at a lot of competitons, and the Karatekas are only sent there with appropriate preparation.
Everyone is welcome to take part in tournaments and since there even are categories for white belts, no one is left behind.

Karate can be practiced as an art, a sport or just to stay fit, also it is ment to strengthen the body, develope self defense skills and set the body in a state of balance.

Besides several events throughout the year, like flying to competitions in Dublin, Belfast, Italy, Hungary and Karate Seminars, we also offer Summer camps in Hungary (Szentes and Balathon) and Austria.
The summer camps in Hungary, are always fun for young and old, with training held by our sensei Shibamori in Szentes,  which assures high-level karate for all belts.
The Balathon summer camp includes training and holidays all in one for about 1 week. The Karatekas also get the chance to earn a higher belt, beside the 2 belt tests throughout the year organized by our club.

The respectful treatment of each other in the club is a very important aspect to us, therefor our club shows a very warm and heartly enviroment.

All those interested in Karate can always come by to enjoy a free training session and get to know the art of Wado Ryu Karate.
From 6 to 99 everyone is welcome to join our club, compete or just stay fit by doing Karate!
